Adult Art & Craft Classes

Why Choose Brookfield Craft Center?

Students travel from across Western Connecticut for a few clear reasons, and they usually come down to access, depth, and craft you can’t pick up just anywhere close to home.

Multiple Disciplines, One Campus

Clay, forge, glass, jewelry, wood, and fiber all live under one roof, so students aren't piecing together instruction across different schools.

Specialized Studios and Equipment

Each craft gets its own dedicated, fully equipped studio space built for that discipline specifically.

Instruction From Working Artists

Classes are taught by professional artists and experienced instructors, not generalists.

Classes for Every Skill Level

From first-timers to advanced makers, course offerings span beginner through advanced instruction.

Rare Crafts, Still Taught

Blacksmithing, woodturning, and glasswork are increasingly hard to find taught in person. We offers all three.

A Long-Established Nonprofit

As a nonprofit craft school with deep roots, our mission has always centered on education over sales.
