Brookfield, CT – November 12, 2016 – As community members gear up for seasonal shopping, the Brookfield Craft Center’s Annual Holiday Craft Sale will kick off with a bang in early November and run through December 31.  Each year, an amazing mix of one-of-a-kind hand-crafted gifts – from holiday ornaments to woodcrafts, glass crafts and jewelry, to pottery, fiber works, and so much more are featured during this exceptional shopping event. In addition to fine craft items, gift certificates for BCC classes are also available to wow your loved one with a creative experience in 2017! Gift seekers can shop tax free at a meet-the-artists preview party that will be held in the BCC’s Gallery Store located at 286 Whisconier Rd. on Friday, November 11 from 5-8 p.m.

This must-visit sale and exhibit of local and national uniquely crafted selections has drawn hundreds of visitors from across the Northeast every year for over 40 years. “So many people look forward to exploring our sale. They travel from across the east coast to view and purchase items that just can’t be found anywhere else.  Whether you are looking for a functional pottery piece, a funky hat or scarf to keep you warm, stunning blown or fused glass decorative items, or a stand-out piece of jewelry, we have these items and more at all price-points,” said Jillian Doherty, Craft Center Gallery Manager..

Buying from the BCC is a great way to support talented artisans while also finding the perfect hand-crafted gift for that special person in your life. Inventory for 2016 is better than ever! A Small Business Saturday sale, featuring a 10% discount for BCC members will take place on November 26 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Addition holiday shopping hours through December 31 are from Tuesday through Friday, 12-5, Saturdays from 11-5, and Sundays 12-4pm.
