2026 Artists on the Rise – Student Art Show

Artists on the Rise is a collection of work from high school aged artists. While most of the pieces come from students in the greater Danbury area, other parts of the state are also represented. The exhibition includes art and fine craft from over 110 students in a wide range of media including drawing and painting, jewelry, fiber, ceramics, and more.
The inspiration for the art comes from their own experiences, and it reflects a diverse exploration of creative endeavors. This juried event provides young artists the opportunity to have their work shown to the public in a professional environment. Awards are presented across media and for best in show.
Brookfield Craft Center would like to thank Jewelry Designs and Kellie Martone & Associates for their generous sponsorship of Artists on the Rise.

The exhibition will run from March 7th through March 29th.

The exhibition will be held both in-person and virtually. Our goal is to have as much artwork for in-person viewing as possible, but if you are unable to get your artwork to us, we will present it as part of the virtual exhibition. Prizes are awarded by category and for overall best in show. Judging for awards will be finalized based on works received in person.
