Brookfield, CT – April 7, 2016 – The Brookfield Craft Center is hosting an exhibition of work by the Nutmeg Woodtruners League.

The exhibition will kick off with an opening reception on Saturday April 9, 2016 in the Lynn Tendler Bignel gallery from 5:00 – 8:00pm. The reception is open to all. The exhibition runs through April 30th.

The Nutmeg Woodturners League, established in 1989, is affiliated with the American Association of Woodturners and is dedicated to promoting woodturning as a craft and an art form. “We are proud to host this exhibition” stated Howard Lasser, the Craft Center’s Executive Director. “The Nutmeg Woodturners and the Brookfield Craft Center have a long history of collaboration. The Nutmegers were instrumental in our ability to reopen our Woodturning studio last fall. This is an opportunity for us to share and show the community some of these artists’ beautiful, creative and artistic work.”
